Transcode

BLM Transcode is a service engine which provides file-to-file content transcoding services for applications where high quality and speed of execution are paramount. Designed for use in the delivery chain of typical media workflows BLM Transcode provides the highest possible image quality for all common delivery formats; H.264, WM, MPEG-2 and containers / wrappers including MXF MP4, FLV. BLM Transcode is accessed from the Miura Fulfilment application and, as with all BLM components, the transcode functional capability is made available through a web service interface (SOAP / REST) which also allows it to be deployed as an OEM service module if required.
