Miura Production
Miura Production provides access to a number of key production services with a particular focus on assisting intermediary functions in bulk ingest environments.
Production provides an intuitive interface with auto complete and lookup libraries where possible in order to simplify and speed up the process of enriching clip metadata. The application allows metadata, and documents to be added on a per-asset basis to enable future search and retrieval.
The Production tool also provides access to the BLM Tailor service which enables sub-clips to be created from the source material for onward repackaging as well as lossless clip splicing which is ideal for joining assets that are split across multiple carriers including tapes or solid state devices.
This application also includes file operations such as transferring content from near-line to archive storage or to other productions systems such as craft edit environments for re-purposing. Finally Production utilises the BLAM for metadata and document storage as well as for file operations.
