Miura Tape Logger is designed to fulfill the requirement for tape based logging as part of an integrated non linear workflow or as a replacement for pencil and paper. The Miura Tape Logger provides the same easy to use user interface as Miura Ingest and allows users to log tapes to build up an ingest manifest of clips, delineated by time-code, for ingest. Miura Tape Logger provides metadata templates for operators to annotate material as it is reviewed which may then be persisted with the essence content on ingest. The ingest manifest and associated metadata may then be saved and passed to a Miura Ingest for batch ingest. The Miura Tape Logger is a low cost supplement to Miura Ingest for building ingest clip / shot lists and does not have the file write capability in its own right. Miura Tape Logger allows the tape logging, which may form part of the quality assurance process, to be separated from batch ingest.
