Miura SV
Miura SV is designed to fulfil the requirement for tape based logging as part of an integrated non linear workflow or as a replacement for pencil and paper. The SV provides the same easy to use user interface as Miura and allows users to log tapes to build up a clip list, delineated by time-code, of content for ingest. SV provides metadata templates for operators to annotate material as it is reviewed which may then be persisted with the essence content on ingest. The clip / shot list and associated metadata may then be saved and passed to a Miura for batch ingest. The SV is a low cost alternative to Miura for building ingest clip lists and does not have the file write capability in its own right. SV allows the tape logging, which may form part of the quality assurance process, to be separated from batch ingest.
