BLAM – (Blue Lucy Asset Manager)

The Blue Lucy Asset Manager is at the core of a BLM Miura deployed system offering a complete open asset management system for the three core functional components Acquisition, Production and Fulfilment. BLAM includes an open and extensible metadata model for seamless and flexible operations as well as intelligent hierarchical storage management providing automated near line and archive storage management. BLAM offers a straightforward approach to metadata handling and asset management including a simple Google style search interface provding boolean and wildcard search capability. BLM also have a full integration with the Vidispine media backbone platform.
